Augmented Reality

 

  For our project in Instructional Technologies. I created an augmented reality by using HP reveal. I tried to present a duck for third grade students. What is augmented reality ,it means enriched reality.  But it doesn’t create another reality it applies and  integrates things in to the real world.  In order to integrate duck to the real world I used Hp real. Hp reveal is an application that allows you to create some augmented reality tasks, you can use it by taking a photo and than choose a relevant symbol and imply in to the picture. When you show your picture to the hp reveals camera the thing you implied will be shown in the hp reveals camera. 

  How can we use augmented reality in our English classes, It would be very beneficial  if we can use it as a signifier. If we can use it to show things we can’t show in the classroom it would make our lessons more memorable and more fun, because providing something unusual  and bringing in to our classrooms  makes it more interesting  to learn. We can use the AR technology as a tool for guiding the new words. For example when we show a bird picture to an augmented camera It will show you the 3D object of the bird with this way you can show your students the bird as a  3D model.
